What this extension does

Split with ChatGPT keeps the page you are browsing visible while opening ChatGPT in a slim companion window beside it. The current page stays the main workspace and ChatGPT becomes a side-by-side helper.

How to use it

Open the extension popup in Chrome.
Click Split with ChatGPT to open ChatGPT beside the current page.
Use Left or Right to change which side the chat window uses.
Close the ChatGPT split window when you are done. The extension will clean up its split state.

Important limitations

Split start is disabled while the current Chrome window is in fullscreen mode.
The extension is intended for chatgpt.com and chat.openai.com.
Temporary Chat automation is best-effort and may not always succeed.

Why this site exists
